Super Science Trivia Week of 2-14
What is NASA's first trainee robot astronaut called that is all ready to head to Space when Space Shuttle Discovery launches off for its final mission on February 24th ? What is the purpose of the robot?
Today in class we learned about Punnett squares. They help a lot when trying to figure out the probability of what gene an organism is going to have. I get Homozygous and Heterozygous mixed up, but I think i figured it out. Homozygous is AA/BB/CC and Heterozygous is Aa/Bb/Cc.
Today we learned more about Mendels Peas and about the Punnett squares. We learned about how you would classify the Mother, and Father alleles. We also learned about Heterozygous which is a upper case letter then a lower case letter, (example. Hh), and also we learned about Homozygous which is all upper case letters, ( example. HH).
I am glad you understand what we did today Chris. You may use the article on the NASA robot for tomorrow. It is a required assignment and you must follow the format on the blue sheet. Type or handwrite it in blue or black ink on your own paper. Make sure you follow the format and staple the current event to the back of your summary.
